One-of-a-Kind Reach Resin Pendant Comment below, and you'll be entered to win. |
Reach for the ones you love. Life is too short, and our time together is precious.
Reach for the ones you don't love so much. They need it more than we know.
Reach back. When someone extends their hand or their heart, reach back. It takes strength to accept love, kindness, and yes even help from another.
Reach without being asked. When someone's in need, reach out to them. This can be as simple as helping to unload groceries when you see them struggling. Reaching doesn't have to be a grand act with a well thought plan behind it.
Reach anonymously. The joy is in the reaching, and inevitably we gain more than we give.
Reach when you feel like it.
Reach when you don't.
Reach a place of contentment, and celebrate success. Amidst all of this reaching, make time to enjoy and appreciate those we love and all that we're accomplishing.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Jane! I've been having a ball with resin lately. :-)
DeleteShared on my Facebook wall. <3
ReplyDeleteMary
Thank you again!
DeleteBeautiful expressive colors.... almost edible!
ReplyDelete"Edible" is a lovely way to think of it, Myra. Thank you so much!
DeleteThank you for inspiring us to REACH as there are so many ways to make a difference in the world today! <3
ReplyDeleteThank YOU, Brittany! I'm really looking forward to meeting you in person. :-)
DeleteYou really touched my heart with this post. I live with chronic illness and cannot tell you how much it means when someone offers to help without my asking them. I "met" Jodi Ohl through just such a random act of kindness. Right after hurricane Sandy I had commented on her blog and mentioned being scared, having no power, etc. . . Jodi sent the most needed and lovely care package to myself and my elderly mother. I have never forgotten that act of kindness and have done,y best to pay it forward in any way I can to others.
ReplyDeleteI loved reading your comment, Maureen. I admit to being a bit of a pollyanna, and I love to imagine what a difference a little more kindness would mean for all of us. <3
DeleteYour art is soooo creative!!! Hoping one day I can attend a ReMe Retreat sounds like lots of fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Barbara! I would love for you to join us. We have big plans up our sleeves, so please stay tuned as additional opportunities are announced.
DeleteI love your theme of "Reach". That is what I have done been doing. Went to my first art retreat in the summer of 2011 after having lost my husband in 2010. I was reaching for light and happiness and maybe even a distraction. I met Jodi later that same year at AIY in Stamford, and I've been a fan ever since. Now I'm looking forward to meeting you & Penny, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm counting the days, Lynn! I love that this blog hop, and our other online interactions, are revealing more of our individual stories. By the time we get to Ocracoke, it will feel like we're reuniting with old friends instead of meeting for the first time.
DeleteI've been gone all day and just got home to the wonderful surprise of winning your beautiful necklace! I will be wearing it all the time! Thank you so much!
DeleteThank you all for participating! This blog hop was a first for ReMe, and a first for me too.
ReplyDeleteI'm tickled to announce that I've selected this week's winner from my blog using a random number generator. (This method's not nearly as cute as Wito The Wonderdog; but my pups, would eat your entries instead of selecting a winner!)
Now for a bit more suspense, all of our winners will be announced early this afternoon. We'll be in touch again then. :-)
Thank you so much, Jean! I love your beautiful necklace and I will wear it all the time to remind my self to continue to REACH!
DeleteWito was on strike today *pouting over the weather* -- I had to use a random number generator, too! *ha!* Congratulations to all the winners -- this was my first "hop" as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed the comments and stories everyone shared with us.
